Music exams with a difference...

ICMA hold examinations in Music Performance, Music Theory and Speech. Teachers may use their own studio, home, school, church, or local hall for examinations, enabling candidates to perform in familiar surroundings and on familiar instruments.

You won't have to wait weeks for your exam results, and the examiners are friendly and helpful.

Professional and friendly... whilst maintaining high standards, examinations are held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where candidates interact with trained, qualified, experienced and sympathetic examiners.

Flexible

Flexible exam dates held throughout the year at times agreed with the applicant, so that candidates may perform at their peak, and without disruption to children's education. We even examine on Sundays and in the evenings, if required.

Our music examinations are designed to inspire and motivate both amateur and professional musicians, using a mix of popular, traditional and serious styles of music.

With an exciting and 'open' exam syllabus that is designed to be flexible, modern and inspiring, the student can progress through a well organised and tested grade syllabus. Opportunities exist for students to work towards taking teaching and performing diplomas if they so wish.
